The Power of Groups: Group Exercise at the J
On-site Classes: Reservations are required for on-site classes.
RSVP & Waitlist Policy: RSVP’d members will have a five-minute grace period from the time Group Exercise class begins. If you are more than five minutes late for class, and there is a waitlist, a waitlisted member will be allowed to join the class in your place.
Updated Mask Policy (May 14, 2021)
- Members and staff who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask at the J, although they may choose to do so.
- Members and staff who are not vaccinated are expected to continue to wear a mask.
- ALL MEMBERS and staff will be required to wear a mask from 10–11am in the fitness centers on weekdays (excluding holidays), an hour we are reserving for those who prefer to or must wear a mask while working out.
Virtual Classes: More than 60 virtual classes are offered each week to our members through our online J Community. Membership is required to access these classes and our online library of recorded classes. Click here for more information about setting up your online account.
Unlimited, free group exercise is an amazing benefit of membership at the J – and group ex itself offers many benefits, too! The energy is positive and high in a group class, you make new friends, look forward to seeing each other and become accountable to each other, and you tend to work a little harder in a group. Between our two locations and our virtual classes, the J offers nearly 150 free classes each week – and this includes the most popular classes like yoga, Pilates, cycling, Zumba and Tabata.
