Sunday, August 27: 10am-6pm (Preview Day: $10 admission)
Monday, August 28: 10am-7pm (Free admission)
Tuesday, August 29: 10am-7pm (Free admission)
Wednesday, August 30: 10am-7pm (Free admission)
Thursday, August 31: 10am-8pm (Free admission; Fill a bag for $5!)
Thousands of books will be available for sale at the J Used Book Sale. Stock up on your reading material. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Cultural Arts Department.
Book lovers, collectors and avid readers all anticipate this annual event. Thousands of titles will be available, including mystery and intrigue, novels, biographies, politics, religion, sports, cookbooks, history, animals, art, science, science fiction, business, women’s issues, foreign languages, gardening, poetry, psychology, self-help, humor…the list goes on.
Parents and educators will find a large selection of books for children and youth as well as educational materials for homeschoolers. Multiples of titles are available for book club reading along with miscellaneous videos, books on tape/CDs and DVDs.
Masks are recommended but not required while you are inside the J’s Arts & Education building.
Used Book Donations
Donate your books to the J’s Used Book Sale!
You can bring your donations to the J’s Arts & Education entrance at the Staenberg Family Complex in Creve Coeur (2 Millstone Campus Dr. 63146) Monday through Friday from 10am – 2pm. Any adjustments to this schedule will be posted here so please check back often.

The Used Book Sale accepts books, records, CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays in good condition. We DO NOT accept encyclopedias, magazines, journals, or VHS tapes. We do accept textbooks but they must not more than three years old. We only accept books and are unable to accept any other types of items – please no clothing, games, sports goods, etc.

Used Book Sale Volunteers
Sorting
All ages. Volunteer book markers are needed at JFS, located across the street from the J. Volunteers are trained and heavy lifting is not required. Several shifts are available.

Setup and Sales Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to assist in setting up the book sale and providing customer service while helping run the sale as cashiers, stockers and general assistance.
