Winter Used Book Sale: February 2-6
Thousands of books will be available for sale as the Annual J Used Book Sale returns in to the Arts and Education Building. Stock up on your winter reading material. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Cultural Arts Department.
Apps are great, but there’s nothing like the feel of a real book! Book lovers, collectors and avid readers all anticipate this annual event. Thousands of titles include mystery and intrigue, novels, biographies, politics, religion, sports, cookbooks, history, animals, art, science, science fiction, business, women’s issues, foreign languages, gardening, poetry, psychology, self-help, humor…the list goes on.
Parents and educators will find a large selection of books for children and youth as well as educational materials for homeschoolers. Multiples of titles are available for book club reading along with miscellaneous videos, books on tape/CDs and DVDs.
Donations are accepted Monday through Friday (9am – 5pm) at the J’s Staenberg Family Complex in Creve Coeur. If you have a large drop-off, please inquire at the front desk of the Arts & Education building for assistance.
Sunday, February 2, 10am-4pm (Preview Day): $10 admission
Monday – Wednesday, February 3-5, 10am-7pm: FREE admission
Thursday, February 6, 10am-6pm (Bag Day): FREE admission – Fill a bag for only $5
