You Can Be a St. Louis Legend.

Competing in the St. Louis Legends Games is your chance to celebrate lifelong wellness, friendly competition, and community connection in one of the nation’s most respected master’s‑style athletic events. With more than 90 events and over 1,200 athletes supported each year by 300+ volunteers, the Games offer something for every ability level—whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, try something new, or simply enjoy the camaraderie of active adults from across the region. And with its new name reflecting the true spirit of active aging, the St. Louis Legends Games proudly welcomes anyone 50+ who wants to move, compete, grow, and have fun.

Registration Fees

General Registration:

$55 if postmarked by Monday, April 20, 2026
$65 if postmarked after Monday, April 20, 2026

  • Basketball 3-on-3, Softball: $36 by Monday, April 20
  • Tournament, or Water Volleyball ONLY: $46 after Monday, April 20$
  • Art, Bridge, Car Show, Dance: $18 by Monday, April 20
  • Ice Hockey Skills, or Mahjong ONLY: $28 after Monday, April 20

Add-On Fees 

  • Golf, 9-Hole: $18 (includes greens fee and cart)
  • Golf, 18-Hole: $24 (includes greens fee and cart)
  • Bowling, Singles: $9 (does not include shoe rental)
  • Bowling, Doubles: $9 (does not include shoe rental)
  • Bowling, 4-Person Team: $9 (does not include shoe rental)
  • Softball Tournament: $18 (for those participating in other sports)

Payment

Payments may be made by credit card or by check to the address listed on the entry form. Entry Form cannot be processed unless the waiver is signed and fees are included.

Team entry forms will not be processed unless all team members have submitted their waiver and payment. Captains are responsible for submitting them together.

Donations to support the continuation of the St. Louis Legends Games are also accepted.

Qualifications

Updated for 2026

Age Divisions

  • For all events, participant must turn 50 by December 31, 2026.
  • Except as noted below, there will be 11 age divisions for both men and women in each athletic competition:
    50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+.
  • Individual, Doubles and Partner Tournament Events: will have 5-year divisions when three or more are competing.
  • Eligibility-Age Divisions: In events with less than three competitors divisions may be combined. In Doubles and Partner Events, the age of the younger partner determines the age division. Medals will be awarded by whom you play with, even if divisions are combined.

Competitor-Number Divisions

  • Doubles: Two individuals of the same gender.
  • Mixed Doubles: Two individuals of opposite gender.
  • Blind Doubles: Drawn on site.
  • Open Doubles: Two individuals, any combination.
  • Crews: Teams (“Crews”) of 12 participants who compete across a variety of sports as a single unit, contributing to an overall tournament ranking. 

CREWS

New for 2026 — Get Your CREW and Compete for an Overall, Multi-Sport Tournament Ranking!

Grab your friends and family age 50+ and enter your CREW to participate and win special medals as a group!

How it works

  • Choose up to 12 people age 50+ as your CREW.
  • Each member of your CREW will select up to 10 events to participate individually, as doubles partners, or as a larger team.
  • Based on where you place in your event, you get points for your CREW.
  • The top 3 CREWs with the highest points at the end of the Legends Games will win a trophy!
    Trophy will be awarded at the Legends Happy Hour at The Hub on June 4, 6pm!

How to Register for a Crew

  • During general registration for the Games, you’ll be asked if you plan to be, or would like to be, part of a Crew. Select yes.
    • All 12 Crew members should complete Legends Games General Registration individually.
  • If you do not have a Crew assembled, you will be assigned a Crew at a later date.
  • If you do have a Crew assembled (or are currently getting a Crew together), the Crew Team Captain should complete a Crew registration form listing all 12 Crew members.
  • Team Captains will be responsible for ensuring all Crew members have registered and paid in full.

Tournaments

  • The following tournaments will be drawn on site: Badminton, Billiards, Bocce, Cornhole, Darts, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Pinball, Racquetball, Shuffleboard, Soccer Tournament, Texas Hold ’Em, and Washer Toss.
  • The following tournaments will be drawn at least two days before the start date: Basketball 3-on-3, Softball Tournament, and Table Tennis. The event director will contact you with your first match time.
  • Check-in Times: All participants must check in with the event director approximately 10–15 minutes before start time.

Key Event Information

Please be mindful of the events for which you sign up and the times they take place. The St. Louis Legends Games office is not responsible for overlapping event times. Participants may not duplicate entry in any one event with more than one partner. No partner assignments will be made by the St. Louis Legends Games office.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age division of each event. See published rules for each event for information concerning ties, as well as when divisions may be combined.

SLLG welcomes all athletes, staff and volunteers who are transgender and/or non-binary. All athletes who are transgender will participate in categories that reflect their gender identity.
