Home Delivered Meals

Freshly-prepared, healthy and hot kosher meals that are prepared in the J’s kitchens are provided on a short- or long-term basis to homebound individuals, 60 years and older, who are unable to prepare a nutritionally balanced mid-day meal for themselves and are unable to attend a MEAAA congregate meal site at Covenant Place.

Meals are delivered by trained J staff Monday through Friday within a designated service area.  Frozen meals are also available for the weekends.

Senior Meals at Covenant Place

Kitchen J’s Senior Meal Program at Covenant Place provides meals to individuals, 60 years or older, who live in the community. Meals are prepared in Kitchen J’s kitchen at the J, and are served Monday – Friday at Covenant Place. Social programs are held numerous evenings after dinner, including musical and comedy entertainment, information sessions on various topics, trivia, bingo and holiday celebrations.

Shabbat is observed each Friday evening with the Shabbat candle lighting followed by a lovely, traditional dinner.

Shabbat Dinners Catered by Kitchen J

Shabbat shalom! Have a pleasant evening that begins with Shabbat candle lighting, followed by a lovely, traditional Shabbat dinner.

Shabbat dinners are served to individuals, 60 years or older, each Friday evening at 5pm at Covenant Place.
