Nutrition Coaching: Personalized Plans Just for You

Personalized and in-depth nutrition coaching by a registered dietitian.

The J is excited to expand its fitness and wellness services! Now available at the J: Nutrition coaching with registered dietitian and personal trainer, Jamie Livaudais, RD, LD. Nutrition is an important part of any successful fitness plan. Whether you’re new to your journey or you’ve hit a plateau, we’re here to support you.

What is Nutrition Coaching?

Nutrition coaching is behavior modification and teaching you how to eat well for your body, not dictating what to eat. To reach your goals, the J’s nutrition coaching program will provide you with an individualized nutrition plan. To create this individualized plan, the J’s registered dietitian, Jamie, will work with you during an assessment session to create an analysis of your current diet and eating habits. From that analysis, you will receive tailored education and recommendations. During your nutrition sessions, Jamie will also work with you to put together a comprehensive review of your medical history, anthropometrics, eating habits and lifestyle factors. All of to create a plan that is tailored to you.

90-minute assessment sessions are available by appointment at both J locations and for all ages (children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian). Follow-up sessions (30 & 60 minutes) also available.

Free Nutrition Consultation

Are you not sure that this is right for you? Try a free introductory session! Over the course of 20 minutes, you will meet Jamie, our registered dietitian, and get an idea of what your nutritional coaching and assessment session might entail. The free consultations are not intended to replace any nutrition assessment sessions, and as such, no education, handouts, or specific nutritional plans will be discussed. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.

Available at both J locations by appointment. This is a free service (20 minutes).

Meet Jamie Livaudais (RD, LD), Registered Dietitian & Personal Trainer

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Bradley University
  • Interest in fitness and health began in high school while training for volleyball, and continued at Bradley
  • Her nutrition philosophy is to have balance in your diet. People should enjoy food, while finding ways to make eating habits more nutritious
  • Understands everyone’s food habits are different, but the overall goal is the same, in that your diet needs to be healthy and sustainable

Registered dietitians are experts in nutrition. They have studied science-based approaches to improving your health through the foods you eat. They also keep up with the latest research to give you the safest and most effective nutritional recommendations.
