J Massage Services
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete our check-in process. Enjoy a brief steam, sauna and a shower to rinse off stress at this time. Massage time includes five minutes of preparation and consultation. Massages are not transferable. If you wish to purchase a massage as a gift, please ask to purchase a gift card for the amount of the massage.
Therapeutic Massages
Incorporates long strokes, kneading and friction on the superficial layers of the muscles, along with active and passive movements of the joints.
Slow strokes and deep pressure to help release chronic patterns of tension. Also may help increase performance and efficient movement.
Swedish massage enhanced by hot stone therapy melts stress. Smooth stones glide over skin, warming muscles and increasing circulation, relaxation, blood flow and the transport of toxins from the area.
Full Hot Stone massages are 90 minutes only.
A gentle technique that rebalances the body by releasing tension through slow traction, pressure, positioning, stretching and long strokes.
Focuses on muscle systems in relation to a particular sport in order to assist training, prevent injury and aid in healing. Stimulates muscle mass, improves circulation and flexibility and prevents injury with rigorous strokes and precision stretching.
“Trigger points” are areas of tension due to physical, mental and/or emotional stressors. Focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques to stimulate and release constricted areas and to help alleviate painful movement patterns.

Oncology Massage
Oncology massage is a form of specialized, non-invasive therapy that helps one manage the symptoms of cancer and side effects of treatment. It uses a light touch along with slow, steady movements, and is intended to help the body relax. Therapists are specifically trained to understand the impact cancer treatment poses and know what precautions are necessary to keep you safe.
Oncology massage benefits are intended to include:
- Lessen cancer fatigue and improve sleep
- Reduce anxiety and stress
- Reduce chemotherapy related nausea
- Pain reduction
- Ease constipation
- Improved chemotherapy – related neuropathic pain
- Provide a sense of well being
Pricing: $70 per 60-minute session
Chair Massage
Upper body stress release utilizing Swedish, Deep Tissue, or Trigger Point Therapy.
Pricing: $2 per minute; 20 minutes max.

Cancellation Policy
The services you select are reserved exclusively for you. To cancel your appointment, please call the service desk (314-442-3144) at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid being billed for 100% of the service fee. We cannot accept cancellations by e-mail.
Included With Your Treatment
Enjoy a complimentary same-day pass to the J, including two hours of complimentary childcare for one child. You must make a reservation with Kidzone to guarantee a spot. Reservations are to be made at least 24 hours in advance by contacting Kidzone at the Staenberg Family Complex at 314-442-3168.
