Therapeutic Massages
Incorporates long strokes, kneading and friction on the superficial layers of the muscles, along with active and passive movements of the joints.

A gentle technique that rebalances the body by releasing tension through slow traction, pressure, positioning, stretching and long strokes.
Focuses on muscle systems in relation to a particular sport in order to assist training, prevent injury and aid in healing. Stimulates muscle mass, improves circulation and flexibility and prevents injury with rigorous strokes and precision stretching.
“Trigger points” are areas of tension due to physical, mental and/or emotional stressors. Focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques to stimulate and release constricted areas and to help alleviate painful movement patterns.

Oncology Massage
Oncology massage is a form of specialized, non-invasive therapy that helps one manage the symptoms of cancer and side effects of treatment. It uses a light touch along with slow, steady movements, and is intended to help the body relax. Therapists are specifically trained to understand the impact cancer treatment poses and know what precautions are necessary to keep you safe.
Oncology massage benefits are intended to include:
- Lessen cancer fatigue and improve sleep
- Reduce anxiety and stress
- Reduce chemotherapy related nausea

BOOK YOUR MASSAGES: The J Massage & Spa is open to the public. You need not be a member of the J! (Members do enjoy discounted rates!)
Massage time includes five minutes of preparation and consultation. Massages are not transferable. If you wish to purchase a massage as a gift, we offer gift cards!
CANCELLATION POLICY: The services you select are reserved exclusively for you. To cancel your appointment, please call the service desk (314-442-3171) at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid being billed for 100% of the service fee. We cannot accept cancellations by e-mail.
