American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

15 years+. Teaches the duties and responsibilities of lifeguards to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Certifies participant as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, including CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and AED.

Prerequisites

Swim a 200 yard into treading water for two minutes.

Notes

• Must attend all classes in a session
• Cancellations made at least seven (7) days before start of class will receive a refund minus a $50 fee
• No refunds for cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to the start of class
• Participants who do not pass the prerequisite will receive a refund minus a $50 fee
• This is a blended learning class with online learning and in-water skills
• Friday classes during the school year are 4-7pm.
