The J’s Creve Coeur location serves as an epicenter for a nationally-recognized Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC). A NORC includes adults, ages 60 and older, living in a designated service area. St. Louis’ area is coordinated by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis in partnership with the Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family & Children’s Services and Washington University Center for Aging.
If you are 60 and older and are interested in learning, meeting new people and exploring some of the cultural institutions in our community, the St. Louis NORC is the place to be. Ongoing programs include chair yoga, current topic discussions, knitting, drawing, and Wii Games. Programs are held year round.
NORC is a unique program. Through its partnership with the J, NORC members receive a reduced rate on fitness membership. Programs are open to the community, but reduced J membership benefit is contingent on NORC membership.
Pricing
- $35 for an individual membership
- $50 for a couple’s membership
Membership is based on home location (limited to a small area of Creve Coeur)
