Synopsis
A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their principles in tatters.

Cast
Bridgette Bassa (Annette) is filled with gratitude to reunite with NJT under Gad’s joyful direction in this sharp comedy! After attending Columbia College in Chicago and reading David Mamet’s True and False, she moved to LA and has since worked on numerous indie films you’ve never heard of, as well as various commercials you might have. Most memorable past shows: NJT’s We All Fall Down, STLAS’s Tribes and Metro Theater’s Edward Tulane. Tremendous appreciation for this intelligent cast, magical crew, championing from family & friends, and the immeasurable gift of storytelling.
Nick Freed (Alan) is thrilled to return to NJT! St. Louis credits: Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville (NJT-StL Theater Circle Winner for Best Ensemble), The Minutes (Stray Dog-StLTheater Circle Nominee: Best Actor), Mindgame and The Birthday Party (Albion Theatre-Theater Circle Nominee: Best Supporting Actor), and Romeo and Juliet (St. Louis Shakespeare Company). Chicago credits: London Wall (Griffin), Season Pass, King Ubu, and belladonna luna sonata (The Plagiarists), and Falling (Interrobang), among others. Nick is the Founder and Artistic Director of Glass Elevator. He wants to thank Britney and Robbie for their patience, love, and support, while he’s off playing pretend.
Joel Moses (Michael) is excited to return for his 5th production at NJT! Prior NJT credits: The Wanderers, The Heidi Chronicles, All My Sons, and Laughter on the 23rd Floor (2022 cast). He is a multiple St. Louis Theater Circle Award recipient for his work in The Christians (WEPG) and Brontë Sister House Party (SATE). Other St. Louis credits: the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, St. Louis Actors’ Studio, the Midnight Company, and Albion Theatre. Joel is an adjunct faculty member at Webster’s Sargent Conservatory and in the theatre program at SLU. Proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
Christina Rios (Veronica), M.Ed, is a St. Louis-based actor, singer, director, producer, and co-founder of R-S Theatrics. She is overjoyed to now be the Artistic Director of The Riverside Theatre Project! Prior NJT credits: Broadway Bound and Jerry’s Girls. Ms. Rios has been fortunate to work with many regional institutions, and recently her acting and directorial work has been recognized with a 2024 Broadway World nomination, as well as awards from The St. Louis Theatre Circle and The Lotties. Ms. Rios is the mother of four wonderful children, the partner of a great human, and a true believer that art can change the world. ¡Gracias por esta oportunidad!
