Are you teed up to get out on the green this summer? Join the JCC of St. Louis for our annual charity golf tournament, Monday, June 21, 2010 at Meadowbrook Country Club in Ballwin, Missouri.  There will be morning and afternoon flights as well as a hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner for players, sponsors and friends. All proceeds will benefit programs and services the JCC provides for those in need in our community.

Participating in a charity golf tournament is the philanthropic way to enjoy summer sports.  The J is in its 26th year of coordinating a community-wide opportunity to golf with friends, help others, and get outside. Golf is a mental game as well as a cardiovascular workout and a weight bearing exercise, but it feels more like a relaxing social activity, best suited for vacation.

Morning registration will begin at 7 am, the first shotgun start will be at 8 am, the registration for the afternoon flight will be at 11 am with the shotgun start at 12:30 pm.  Dinner will begin at 6 pm. View the JCC Golf Tournament Schedule here.

Everyone needs an occasional do-over, that’s why mulligans will be available for $30 for 2, but they must be purchased in advance. If you really think you have a good shot, there will be a number of contests including longest putt, closest-to-the-pin, and of course, hole-in-one.

The golf tournament encompasses everything the JCC stands for: physical health, exercise, strengthened community ties, giving back to others, and fun for adults of all ages and ability levels.
