Ilene Joseph Salon Series - Nishmah: The St. Louis Jewish Women's Project

Step into a space where voices matter and ideas spark connection. The Ilene Joseph Salon Series invites women to gather for meaningful, facilitated conversations on timely topics that impact our lives and our community. These intimate discussions are hosted in the homes of Nishmah members and are designed to inspire, educate, and give Jewish women a place to connect. Attendance is always free, with donations to Nishmah welcome.

This salon is held in partnership with Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.  

Salon Topic: Strength and Resilience in the Darkest Moments: Stories from a Psychotrauma Medic

Hadas Rucham, EMT, social worker, and clinical director of United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma Unit, will share her frontline experiences responding to some of the most devastating crises of our time, including local Iranian missile attacks, Hurricane Ian, and the horrific Bondi Beach shooting in Australia.

Held in the Beit Midrash at the Staenberg Family Center’s Arts & Education Building.

The Ilene Joseph Salon Series is part of Nishmah: The St. Louis Jewish Women’s Project and named for Ilene Joseph, z”l, one of Nishmah’s founders and a passionate supporter of the Salon Series.
