Business Fraud: Catch Me If You Can – with Mirowitz Center

Drawing on his professional experience, Don Mitchell, a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, provides a practical look at industry fraud and corruption. He discusses real-life examples, including common “red flags” and patterns (that often signal illegal activity), step-by-step investigations and reports (from initial suspicion through evidence-gathering and analysis), and recoveries (recovering losses and mitigating future risks). Don’t forget: when warning signs are missed, fraud – which impacts businesses and organizations of all sizes – can remain hidden for years!
