Located in mid-St. Louis County near Creve Coeur on the I.E. Millstone Campus, the Staenberg Family Complex is a community center like no other. This summer, we’re excited to offer a range of aquatic activities that promise fun and fitness for all ages. With state-of-the-art facilities and accredited programs, your family can enjoy swimming in a safe and welcoming environment (both inside and outside).

The Millstone Indoor Natatorium features a four-lane, 25-yard pool perfect for lap swimming, the J Sharks Swim Club, and various water fitness classes, including Aqua Boot Camp and Aqua Power Deep. Whether you’re looking to improve your swimming skills or get an invigorating workout, this pool offers something for everyone.

Our Warm Water Indoor Recreational Pool is ideal for families and those seeking a more relaxed aquatic experience. It includes two 18-yard lap lanes, a long and short water walking course, and areas dedicated to the J Splash Academy and water fitness classes. 

The pool also boasts a kids’ area with fountains, interactive play elements, and two slides, including a big spiral and a slope! With its zero-depth entry, this pool caters to swimmers of all ages and abilities. Plus, we offer various aquatics group exercise classes to keep you active and engaged all summer long. Our Staenberg Family complex also offers two incredible outdoor pools to enjoy:

Siwak Family Outdoor Recreational Pool

Ideal for smaller children, this zero-entry depth pool with large umbrellas, water spouts, wading area and toddler-test aqua play gym is perfect for families who are ready to introduce their children to water fun.

Outdoor Lap and Recreational Pool

With 25-meter and 25-yard lap swimming, huge curly-q slide, diving board, tree swing and aqua climb wall, the J is proud to offer one of the coolest and most fun outdoor pools in St. Louis. This pool hosts the J Day Campers and the J Sharks Swim Team every summer.

Marilyn Fox Building/Chesterfield 

We want to make swimming accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why we have even more pools in Chesterfield at the J’s Marilyn Fox Building. 

Our state-of-the-art fitness center also has a licensed and accredited Early Childhood Center. We offer convenient babysitting services that make it easier for parents to get a swim in. Parents can enjoy a workout while knowing their children are safe and entertained, enhancing the overall experience.

At the heart of our aquatic offerings is the Millstone Pool, a six-lane competition pool that hosts the west branch of the J Sharks Swim Club and the J Splash Academy. This pool also offers water fitness classes such as Wet Sweat, Aqua Fit, and Aqua Flow, among other faves. 

This pool is also a hit with seniors. It has stairs and an access ramp for easy entry. Not to mention, a comfortable water temperature of 84 degrees! The Millstone Pool provides a welcoming environment for lap swimming and water walking during select times.

Don’t forget about our Outdoor Recreational Pool. This area is perfect for families with young children. 

It features an open- and closed-tube water slide, lap lanes, and a climbing wall. Plus, there’s a zero-depth area with a play structure designed for small children! That makes the Outdoor Recreational pool the ideal spot for little ones to splash around and have fun while parents relax and enjoy the summer sun.
