The Taste of Memories was created to connect the Jewish community, all over the world, to Yom Hazikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day) in a meaningful way. The program includes a virtual cooking workshop where participants cook while hearing the story of a fallen soldier, and the special meaning of the dish. This year’s event will commemorate Hadar, a soldier at border police who was killed while saving her friend’s life.
