The Reel World Tour of The St. Louis Jewish Film Festival Continues August 21!
The St. Louis Jewish Film Festival continues its 21st year at the J’s Arts & Entertainment Building in Creve Coeur.
The powerful and inspirational French film, Once in a Lifetime, will be shown on Sunday, August 21st. This film is based on a true story which involves inner-city Paris students whose lives are changed when their no-nonsense history teacher enters them in a high school competition with the theme of what it meant to be a teen in a Nazi concentration camp. She is determined to engage her troubled, apathetic, multi-cultural class in a project that will instill a sense of purpose and ambition. The project is first met with resistance until a moving, face-to-face encounter with a Holocaust survivor. Perfect film for teens and the entire community!
This film will screen at the J’s Arts & Entertainment Building at 4 pm. Tickets are $12.00 – student tickets (age 16 and under) are $8.00.
