Fourth of July Duck Slide – Fox
Ready… set… go! Watch your rubber duck race down the J’s outdoor slides as they try to be the first to splash down! It’s free to adopt a rubber ducky and enter, you just have to cheer loudly and root them on! Start your Independence Day with games, crafts, music and fun for the whole family. Marilyn Fox Building Indoor Pool Maintenance
The J performs maintenance on our indoor pools every year, and the pools are closed during this time. This year, indoor pool maintenance at the Marilyn Fox Building includes the installation of a new Pool Pak - basically, a brand new HVAC system - and you will notice the improvement! The full schedule is as follows: Fox/Chesterfield: August 14-27 (*Outdoor Pool will be closed Tuesday, August 15 from 9-10:30am and 12:30 - 2pm) SFC/Creve Coeur: August 21-September 4

Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class
Teaches the duties and responsibilities of lifeguards to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies and procedures to carry them out in a professional manner. Certifies participant as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, includes certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Automated External Defibrillation, Oxygen Administration, and Blood-borne Pathogens Training. Prerequisites: Must swim 300 yards continuously using these strokes in the following order: 100 yards/front crawl; 100 yards/breaststroke; and 100 yards/either front crawl or breaststroke or a combination. Doggie Pool Party
