What is Tough Mudder?
Tough Mudder is an endurance event involving mud and fun/challenging obstacles with running/jogging/walking in between each. Check out the video above!
How difficult is the course?
There are three distances, each with a specific number of obstacles: three miles/ten obstacles, five miles/ thirteen obstacles, and ten miles/twenty three obstacles. The distance obviously impacts the difficulty and, the obstacles range in difficulty and method of challenge. The obstacles are creatively designed to be fun, but also test participants and take them out of their comfort zone, requiring climbing, crawling, carrying, hanging, heat, cold and more!
How do I prepare?
Each J location has a small group training schedule for participants to prepare for the event.in response to popularity and demand. Training will be centered around running/walking/jogging stamina, as well as relative body strength (your ability to move/control your body through the challenges set forth).
