B’nai Brith Institute: The Jewish World Today

Join B’nai B’rith as we welcome the Executive Vice President of B’nai B’rith International and the organizations top executive, Dan Mariaschin, to an evening talk. “The Jewish World Today” will bring us the latest news as Dan will travel back from Israel to attend the United Nations assembly and then travel to St. Louis bringing us the most current news.

Daniel S. Mariaschin has spent nearly all of his professional life working on behalf of Jewish organizations. As the executive vice president of B’nai B’rith International, the organization’s top executive officer, he directs and supervises B’nai B’rith programs, activities, and staff in the more than 50 countries where B’nai B’rith is organized. Mariaschin also serves as director of B’nai B’rith’s Center for Human Rights and Public Policy. In that capacity, he presents B’nai B’rith’s perspective to a variety of audiences, including Congress and the media, and coordinates the center’s programs and policies on issues of concern to the Jewish community.

In the United States and abroad, Mariaschin has met with countless heads of state, prime ministers, foreign ministers, opposition leaders, influential members of the media, and clerical leaders. Each time, his goal has been to advance human rights, help protect the rights of Jewish communities worldwide, and promote better relations with the state of Israel. He will be joining us following a trip to Israel and a meeting with the United Nations Council.
