SUMMARY:Stages & Stories with NJT & Nishmah – An NJT "Prayer for the French Republic" Special Experience
DESCRIPTION:For women. \nJoin NJT and Nishmah: The Jewish Women’s Project for an evening of conversation inspired by NJT’s production of Prayer for the French Republic\, by Joshua Harmon. \nHear from NJT’s artistic director\, Rebekah Scallet\, as well as Nancy Lisker\, a member of the American Jewish Committee. Together\, we’ll explore themes from the play\, including intergenerational experiences with antisemitism\, what it means to feel safe as Jews in an uncertain world\, and the challenging choices these realities can demand. \nSpecial thanks to the Rubin and Gloria Feldman Family Educational Institute for its support of NJT events that are designed to provide context for the production of Prayer for the French Republic. \nProgram\n6pm Wine & Refreshments in the Lobby\n7pm Moderated Discussion in the Wool Studio Theatre \nPrayer for the French Republic\, by Joshua Harmon\nPrayer for the French Republic opens Thursday\, April 16\, and runs through May 3.
