St. Louis Jewish Film Festival: Big Sonia

Sonia Warshawski spent her teenage years shuttled between concentration camps, and is one of the last Holocaust survivors in Kansas City. Watch as she tells her first-person narrative, which is artfully illustrated with animations inspired by her drawings. Big Sonia also includes intimate interviews with family and friends illuminate her embodiment of perseverance and determination. Poignant and uplifting, you won’t want to miss this.
