Panel Discussion facilitated by Aisha Sultan, parenting advice columnist from the St. Louis Post dispatch with Rabbi Michael Rovinsky, St Louis NCSY and Jewish Student Union Director and Dr. Randi Mozenter, Clinical Psychologist.

Aisha Sultan
Aisha Sultan is the St. Louis region’s only nationally syndicated newspaper columnist. She also serves as a regular St. Louis radio and TV commentator. Her work has appeared in more than a hundred publications, including the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. She has been invited to a dozen universities, including Stanford and Duke, to moderate panels and cover national policy issues. She was a 2011-12 Knight Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan, where she studied parenting and privacy in the digital age. She has won several national awards recognizing her column and feature writing.

Rabbi Mike Rovinsky
Following a successful career in formal education and a short stint as COO during the launch of Kiosite, a startup HR software company, Rabbi “Mike” was approached, in 2002, by local lay leaders to help out “for a few months” with the local NCSY chapter until they found a permanent replacement for their NCSY Advisor. He agreed and more than a decade later he is still going strong. In 2003, he started JSU of St. Louis with a pilot club of 16 students at Ladue High School. The club sponsor was the grandson of Nazis. A combination of his passion for Judaism, unconditional regard for all Jews regardless of affiliation and a great deal of help from Hashem  has enabled him to catapult JSU in St. Louis to a dynamic organization of 16 clubs, in 14 high schools, and the Galia and Milton Movitz~Senator John Danforth Israel Scholars Program serving 800+ students. He has a B.A. in Education from Adelphi University, MBA from Johns Hopkins, Rabbinic Ordinations from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and Kol Yaakov Torah Center, and a Masters in Education and is a provisionally licensed therapist in mental health.

Randi Mozenter, PhD
Randi Mozenter is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice and is on the Clinical Medical Staff of Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University Medical School.  She is active on the Boards of several nonprofit agencies including Kids In The Middle, Kol Rinah, Jewish Student Union and Washington University Neighbor’s Council.
