Jewish Film Society: My Hero Brother

March 5, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Sunday, March 5, 2pm
Holocaust Museum Screening Space
Jewish Federation’s Kopolow Building

My Hero Brother

In 2011 Enosh Cassel decided to take his brother Hannan to Nepal on a three-week trek in the Himalayas, which he documented on film. Israel’s channel 2 featured a story about the trip, which caused a wave of enthusiastic responses throughout the country.

Through the eyes of the camera, we catch a glimpse into the internal world of those with Down Syndrome, and are led on our own journey of discovery and admiration as their inspiring qualities begin to emerge in this sensitive documentary film.
