Nishmah: The Journey

Nishmah’s pre-Passover women’s event returns! Guest storyteller Jennifer Rudick Zunikoff takes us through an immersive experience highlighting inspiring women in the Passover narrative. Join women of all ages as we co-create a virtual protective tent in the wilderness, and fill it with our voices, joy and light.
The evening will also feature music from Lucy Greenbaum, plus some special surprise guests!

About Jennifer Rudick Zunikoff
Jennifer Rudick Zunikoff is a Jewish storyteller, poet, educator, facilitator, and coach. She is the founder/director of The Golden Door: Storytelling for Social Justice, and the Storytelling Director for the Teach the Shoah Foundation. When she performs, Jennifer blends Torah and Midrash into her original interpretations of Jewish texts. Her CD, The Growing Season, composed of her original stories for children, was commissioned by the Macks Center for Jewish Education in Baltimore. Jennifer’s story, Binah and the Broken Pieces, is featured in New Mitzvah Stories for the Whole Family. Her story, Rina and the Exodus, is featured in Mitzvah Stories: Seeds for Inspiration.
About Lucy Greenbaum
Lucy Greenbaum is able to inspire individuals and build community through her music, with melodies ranging from folk, pop, rock, and everything in between. In 2018, Lucy was selected as one of JRR’s Jewish Stars, and through this opportunity she recorded her latest song, L’takein. Previously in 2017, Lucy recorded her debut EP, Sing Your Strength, with Kosher Style Records. When she isn’t writing music, Lucy works at Congregation Shaare Emeth in St. Louis, MO where she serves as the Music and Youth Engagement Director. Lucy’s recordings are available anywhere music is streamed or sold online.
