Group Exercise Classes are extremely popular at both JCC locations and a fantastic way to burn calories, work up a sweat and have a great time doing it.  We have a variety of classes to choose from beyond what you see here.  For further descriptions, please check out the Yoga and Pilates pages.

ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International dance   zumba.jpg musicthat creates a dynamic and exciting fitness system! Routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone & sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

BOSU: Integrate basic movements with the dynamic forces of the BOSU to create an unmatched workout experience that is ultimate in cardio and strength.

SOLE SYNTHESIS: This is a fusion workout blending Balletone exercises with traditional fitness moves and rejuvenating yoga poses to create a complete, total body workout sure to burn calories and make you sweat. This is a members only program.

STRENGTH TRAINING: Intense body sculpting classes focusing on core strength, functional training, balance, fl exibility and strength.

CARDIO: Formats may include step, floor, BOSU, boot camp and so much more. Designed to challenge and improve your cardiovascular training.

COMBINATION CLASSES: Focuses on three components of fitness – cardiovascular, muscular endurance and flexibility – geared for all fitness levels. Format includes cardiovascular training and strength training followed by intense stretching.

FLEXIBILITY/STRENGTH: Classes combine strength conditioning with Yoga and Pilates based moves to increase strength, balance and flexibility.


The JCC group exercise staff are certified through the Aerobic and Fitness Assn. of America (AFAA) in a variety of disciplines including hi/low impact aerobics, strength training, kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates, and many more.
